UniSea HSE Control

The need for an effective and easy to use, electronic reporting solution is becoming more evident as the shipping industry is facing ever increasing demands from clients and class authorities. Companies are realizing the importance of an integrated system where the data onboard the vessel is the same as the data onshore and on portable, offline computers. Along with workflow processing, this lays the foundation for making relevant analysis and risk assessment to lower the number of accidents and LTIs.

The software contains pre-designed forms for reporting and follow-up in the following categories:

    • Personnel Injuries
    • Non Conformance Reports (NCR)
    • Equipment Damage
    • Near Miss Incidents
    • Pollution/Spill
    • Bulletins
    • Protection and Environmental Committee
    • Experience Transfer

Reporting and follow-up
Reporting and follow-up can be undertaken from all workstations, onshore or onboard. An Incident Report goes from “Draft”, “Open”, “Acknowledged”, “Accepted”, “Hold”, “Complete” to “Closed”. The involved parties can at any time check the status of the reports. Through incorporated restriction, the ship-owners can decide who will have the rights to access reports during the workflow.

Status
  • An overview for each report form will show the report number, responsibility for completion, deadlines, document status, historical information etc.
  • Easy workviews for each of the three user-roles accessing the system: The vessel, the QA dep., and the inspector/responsible person.
  • E-mail will prompt the QA manager or organization to achieve deadlines and summarize cases being processed.
  • E-mail will also notify those responsible of new tasks as they become current.

Analysis
Based on the reporting system described above, the customer may at all times obtain statistical data and carry out analysis i.e. reports on all vessels, specific vessels or based on days or weeks depending on the reporting requirements.

Analysis report example:

Printing
Everyone attached to the system will have access to print out analysis and statistics from their own desktop computers.
