Certificate Control

The need for keeping track of certificates in a shipping organization is a major issue. Often this can be done partly in crew/ payroll applications, in maintenance software and class authority web sites. UniSea Certificate control is a simpler, easy to use solution were the user can define certificate names, define mail pre-warning limits, sort by certificate, vessel or expire date. There is also the option of adding scanned certificates as attachments.

How does it work:
This solution is developed in Lotus Notes, and can therefore be automatically synchronized with laptop users, vessels, department office, home office etc. Being on Lotus Notes, a laptop user can utilize the application without having a connection to a server, in other words: off-line access to the data. One of the big selling points with this solutions is the e-mail notifications that can warn one or more e-mail adr. that a certificate is about to expire.
