Adding the full technical bundle
After implementing UniSea's HSEQ and Operations modules across its fleet, Fjord Shipping has now added the full technical bundle - Maintenance, Procurement, Maindeck, and Inspections. This expansion brings maintenance workflows, procurement processes, dry-docking project management, and inspection capabilities onto the same platform already handling safety and environmental compliance.
With 21 vessels under management, including tankers and reefers, consolidating these functions on a single platform addresses the data silos that emerge when technical operations run separately from HSEQ management. An integrated platform eliminates the need to maintain and reconcile information across disconnected systems.

Integrating technical workflows
The Maintenance module brings UniSea's "for crew, by crew" approach to Fjord Shipping's fleet. Designed by maritime professionals who understand shipboard operations, the system enables preventative maintenance scheduling rather than reactive approaches.
The Procurement module integrates purchasing workflows directly with maintenance operations. When spare parts or services are needed, purchase requests flow through approval chains within the same platform handling the maintenance schedules. This eliminates the disconnect that typically exists between identifying maintenance needs and actually procuring required materials, reducing delays and improving inventory management.
