FPSO Ventures, a Malaysian operations and maintenance provider for the offshore oil and gas industry, has selected UniSea to manage safety, quality, and operational processes. The implementation includes a wide range of fully integrated modules within UniSea's Safety, Quality, and Operations offerings, bringing digital structure to incident management, risk assessment, compliance documentation, and workflow oversight.
The company operates FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offloading), FSO (Floating Storage Offloading) and FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas) vessels, along with fixed facilities. These operations demand rigorous safety protocols and documentation systems - requirements that drove FPSO Ventures toward a comprehensive digital platform.

"Safety is paramount in what we do at FPSO Ventures. Partnering with UniSea for their extensive HSEQ software solutions complements FPSO Ventures' digitalization transformation initiatives," says Capt. Stephen Sivaneswaren, COO of FPSO Ventures.
Among the modules FPSO Ventures has selected are UniSea HSE for incident reporting and workflow management, UniSea Risk for fleet-wide risk assessment oversight, and UniSea IMS for procedure control and document management.

UniSea HSE provides centralized tracking of incident reports, safety observations, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Management gains real-time visibility into report status across the organization, with accessible reporting from any device that encourages engagement and improves reporting quality.
UniSea Risk enables standardized risk assessments across operations while allowing operational teams to adapt assessments to specific situations. The module integrates with permit-to-work processes, enabling validation of risk assessments before high-risk tasks begin.
UniSea IMS handles ISM Code documentation, SMS manuals, quality procedures, and revision control. Updates distribute automatically to relevant users, with electronic tracking of who has read and acknowledged new revisions, ensuring crew members always access the latest approved procedures.
"We're pleased to welcome FPSO Ventures as our latest partner in Malaysia. Safety-critical operations like theirs need systems that make compliance manageable rather than burdensome - that's exactly what our HSEQ platform delivers," says Kurt Roar Vilhelmsen, CEO at UniSea.
